Marilyn has more than a decade of experience as Vice President of the national recruiting firm Comprehensive Search. In this capacity she provided senior level talent to Fortune 500 companies in North America and Europe, coaching corporate clients in candidate selection, offer negotiations, employee retention and motivation. As a Distinguished Service Award Recipient, she consistently produced the highest volume in her company’s 26-year history.

Marilyn has coached hundreds of candidates in personalized career strategy to define and reach individual career success. Marilyn has an extensive understanding of what is needed for employers and employees to achieve the mutual fit necessary for success

Prior to working as an executive recruiter and career coach, Marilyn was a Sales Manager, Senior Sales Representative and Designer in the high-end contract furnishings industry. She was a multiple recipient of Outstanding Sales Performance Awards and taught various professional selling skills programs.

Marilyn is an active participant in the business community as well as local and international service organizations. She is involved in various facets of Rotary International, including Board Member and President Elect of the Holladay Rotary Club. In addition, she is currently on the District Committee for the International Youth Exchange Program as well as serving as past District Chair, Club President Elect and Club Youth Services Chair. Marilyn volunteers on the Board for Wananavue Kadavu, whose mission is to bring clean water to the villages of Fiji, one village at a time. In addition, she provides a number of complementary workshops to help the local community.

Gordon Miller
PRINCIPAL

Gordon is a nationally recognized executive coach and workplace expert. He is responsible for building and directing dovetail solutions'™ growing Executive Leadership Practice. In this position, Gordon works to know each client personally, tailoring his services to the needs of the individual, within the specific parameters of that person’s position and industry. He has helped over 150 executives land their next position in the Greater Denver area, primarily via the long-term relationships he built with local business, community and political leaders. Those connections—many of whom sit on boards, are involved with local economic development or run successful companies—helped facilitate his client’s introductions to targeted decision makers.

Gordon has appeared in over 100 business publications and websites, including: Kiplinger, Chicago Tribune, Fortune, Inc., Success, The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo’s Hot Jobs, and TBD.com. He is also a best-selling author (Random House/Doubleday). His first book, Quit Your Job Often, was on the business books best-sellers list at the Tattered Cover in Denver for 18 straight weeks. Numerous industry resources have quoted his second book, The Career Coach. For the last 6 years, Gordon has appeared weekly on KWGN-TV in Denver as The Career Coach. Previously, he appeared weekly on the KTLK Business for Breakfast radio show in Denver for 4 years. Nationally, he has been a guest on CNN-TV numerous times.

Prior to becoming an executive coach in 1997, Gordon was an award-winning executive in corporate America. He was the Top Business Developer for Haworth, a $2 billion manufacturer of office furniture. He was also a Presidents Club recipient for Entex, a $2 billion provider of IT consulting services. He was General Manager of a 14-state region, including all sales/services to major business accounts in Denver and the West.
